Itinerary Overview
After departing from the city, the first stop is a visit to the large-scale modern dairy farm (Caldermeade Farm), where you will witness the semi-automated milking process and learn interesting facts about milk and dairy products.
Next, proceed to Maru Koala and Animal Park (at your own expense). Here, you can observe koalas, wombats, crocodiles, kangaroos, Australian birds, wallabies, Tasmanian devils, dingoes, emus, and more. For an additional AUD 2-3, you may purchase animal feed to hand-feed the adorable wallabies.
At the southwestern tip of Phillip Island lies a unique rocky area known as Seal Rocks, home to Australia's largest fur seal colony. Upon arriving at The Nobbies Centre, a spectacular headland at Phillip Island's southwestern tip, you will be treated to breathtaking views and fascinating wildlife.
As dusk falls, a delightful surprise awaits. Watch as tiny penguins emerge from the sea and waddle across the beach to their burrows in the sand dunes. After observing the penguin parade, board the coach for your return to Melbourne.
