Surfers Paradise Surfing Lessons

In this fully guided course, start by jumping onto a surfboard and experience surfing at the world-famous Surfers Paradise Beach. As you learn how to paddle, stand, and balance to ride the waves back to shore, you'll quickly feel like a professional. After completing the land-based instruction, you'll enter the water to put your new skills into practice and, hopefully, catch some waves.

The entire course lasts 2 hours, during which you'll receive all the guidance needed to build confidence. All equipment is provided, so you only need to bring yourself, swimwear, a towel, and sunscreen. Lessons depart twice daily from the end of Cavill Mall at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.An ideal surfing location with warm waters and a patrolled beach

Schedule

  • Surf lessons depart daily at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM from the beach end of Cavill Mall in Surfers Paradise. Departure times may vary seasonally

  • The departure point is just a short walk from most major Surfers Paradise hotels or a brief distance from the Cavill Avenue light rail station
  • The Paradise Centre, Shop 26a Cavill Mall, Surfers Paradise 4217. Adjacent to the Hungry Jacks restaurant
